St Thomas' C.E Primary School
New course dates will be advertised in September 2026.
Please contact us if you would like to visit our school or have any enquiries about our Apple Regional Training Centre or iPad provision. We regularly work with school leaders and leadership teams to support their digital transformation journey, offering guidance on device procurement, deployment strategies, infrastructure requirements, and effective teaching and learning practices. Drawing on our experience as a successful 1:1 iPad school, we provide practical advice and real-world examples to help schools maximise the impact of technology on pupil outcomes. Whether you are exploring the possibility of introducing iPads, developing an existing programme, or seeking professional development opportunities for staff, we would be delighted to share our experiences and support your next steps.

St Thomas’ C.E. Primary School is proud to be an Apple Regional Training Centre (RTC), committed to supporting both children and educators in developing the confidence and skills needed to use Apple technology effectively to enhance learning both in and beyond the classroom.
As a iPad centric school since 2015, St Thomas’ has established a strong reputation for innovative digital learning. Throughout the academic year, we aim to deliver a range of themed events and workshops, including Green Screening, Movie Making, and LEGO-based coding and robotics challenges. We also offer professional development opportunities focused on integrating iPads into the Computing curriculum and using technology to enhance creativity across all areas of learning.
We are happy to provide guidance and support to schools considering the implementation of iPads, including advice on infrastructure, deployment, staff training, and curriculum integration. Please contact us for further information.
iPads at St Thomas’We ensure that every student has access to the resources they need to learn effectively through our 1:1 iPad programme. Feedback from both students and parents indicates that the devices have increased motivation, improved engagement with learning, developed strong technological skills, and are making a positive impact on learning outcomes.
The introduction of iPads has transformed teaching and learning at St Thomas’. We use the latest innovative technologies to support students on their digital learning journey and prepare them to become confident, responsible, and adaptable lifelong learners in the 21st century.
Engagement and productivity are exceptionally high, with pupils creating professional presentations, films, animations, music, and digital portfolios. They use technology to research topics, access online resources, read digital books, watch instructional content, and document their learning through a variety of media.
These opportunities enable pupils to develop a deeper understanding of concepts and demonstrate their learning in creative and meaningful ways. Through collaboration, problem-solving, and independent research, our students gain the skills required to thrive in an increasingly digital world.
Online safety is a key priority at St Thomas’. We have robust filtering and monitoring systems in place and are committed to educating all pupils to use technology safely, responsibly, and respectfully.
